my SR trans keeps jumping out of first and is grinding going into 2nd??

hey guys i just got my swap done and my car will pop out of 1st sometimesand i was wondering if i put something together wrong or what, but when i push the clutch back in and take it out of gear its fine for a few shifts. also whenever it pops out it makes a very loud grinding noise?!any info would be great thanks guys!!(its a redtop)

The transmission is toast youll need to either rebuild it or swap the KA internals into the SR bell housing.

that would be a good guess. (gl-5 can not be used in transmissions that have brass syncros.)
