this is getting annoying. heres the details. i dont have a bov so it cant be leaking (im not pushing it since im breaking in clutch). everytime i come to a stop it dies. i sprayed carb cleaner at all the vaccum points and everything and idle didnt change. i might have a small boost leak here

stupid cold pipe keeps popping off if i give it a lil over 50% throttle. anyway do u guys think that thats my problem there. while at idle if i give it very light throttle it stumbles and almost dies before going up to where it should go.

that could be it

try tightening the clamp some more? If not maybe take it off and reclamp with a new one so you dont get that gap

this happens also to people who vent atmosphericly. but you said you don't have a bov...so i'd check your recirculation lines.

if you mean by "no BOV", that you have the factory one, make sure its circulated or youll have problems such as this, and running rich

no bov means no bov lol. im not running one at the moment since im waiting for my enjuku pipe to come in for my ssqv. i guess it might be that. the coupling is the stock one but since i have a arc sidemount its moved around a lil.

heres another question. my afc was reading 100.0% throttle all the time all day today. then i moved the wired on the tps a lil and opened and closed the throttle plate a couple of times. then after work i go and check and my throttle on the afc says 0% all the time no matter if im at wot or not. is my tps fukked? im getting weird voltage readings on the afc also

heres a vid of before i moved around the wires and stuff on the tps http://youtube.com/watch?v=t7cn6K3vXGU

check your voltages at the TPS. it should be about .4 closed and 4 at WOT.

yeah, you can get a digital multimeter from radioshack for about 30 bucks.

middle wire is the signal, positive probe goes there. (you can press the probe in through the back of the conector) ground the negative probe the the engine block or the black top wire on the TPS plug.

so i go outside and pop the hood. took some soapy water and sprayed it at that part where the pix are. turned on car and manually revved the engine while i had my head stuck all up in there. needless to say i got an eye full of soapy water. the leak there is major, i have to find a way to close that. as for the tps i moved the wires around a lil. got the afc to read all up to .4 something but that was at WOT. when closed the afc was giving me like .1 something. is my afc wired wrong? or is my tps fukked? i know i need a volt meter but give me an educated guess
