Ok whee the inlet hose is the fitting shattered. So now im forced to run the KA radiator. 2 questions.1) does anyone have pics of how they routed their hoses and how they modified their fan shroud to fit the KA radiator?2) Can my SR radiator be fixed? Imagine you are looking at the fitting where the hose clamps and its gone, nothing to grab onto. Any chance a radiator shop knows how to fix this? kk

is it plastic or aluminum? if its alum. it could probly have new metal welded in, if its plastic take it to a radiator shop and they may be able to put an entire plastic end cap on it but thats just a guess.

The stock SR lower pipe should work. I ran a KA rad for a short while. For the upper rad pipe, go to a local auto parts store, and get two 90 degree bends, a length of straight sections, two pipe couplers in the proper diameter, and a few hose clamps. put one 90 degree bend on the engine upper coolant neck, and other 90 degree bend on the KA radiator inlet, so that the two outlets/inlets of the 90 degree bends face each other. Use the straight section, couplers, and hose clamps to connect the 90 degree bends to each other.

Yeah, i tried this but now the pipe to the SMIC is all out of whack and when i adjust it to make it fit, the hood wont close, do i need to cut the fan shroud or should i remove the fan shroud all together.I have on hose thats 22 inches with a 90 degree bend and a brass fitting thats 90 degrees also.
