ok i know this has probably been gone over before but ive searched and only found a few things about it i swapped an sr in my 89 coupe, and its been running great and everything, but my problem that came out of nowhere is the fact that if im sitting at a light or anywhere for that matter ill rev my car a bit and then the idle will go to like 200 rpms and bounce back up, i AM running an hks ssqv to the atmosphere but ive been running it for over 3 months now and i have not had one problem like that before, why would i have a problem now with it and not before, JUST LIKE I SAID WHY WOULD I HAVE A PROBLEM NOW WITH IT. and i want to recirc it but i just want to know the reason why if it was fine for a while what all of the sudden would make it do what its doing now? ohh and i have an auto redtop ecu if that helps at all

help me guys

mods are,

redtop sr20dets14 t28hks wastegate @ 12psifmic w/hardpipesapexi intakeka24e maf3 inch turbo back with no cathks ssqvmishimoto radiator with fans

ok well all of the sudden it got better, it still backfires here and there which i guess is normal but now it only does it when i rev it to about 2000 or so rpms, it still dies down but everything else seems to be fine, so i really dont even know what to check next, its just weird how i didnt change a thing and this randomley happened

UPDATE- plugs are good, no boost leaks, switched back to 10-w40 and it still wants to stall when i rev, i work right near 240sx motoring in milford, jeff said it could be the ecu, but i didnt get a chance to ask him why, anyone have an auto ecu with the same problem? or any other suggestions

Its sounds your IACV could be a possibility here, and on the backfiring issue, check your timing and make sure your not advanced (detonation)
