There is an idle adjuster screw located on the intake manifold between the middle two intake runners. Hope this helps.

That thing sucks, mine doesn't hardly change the idle at all (only minor adjustment). You have to turn the car off I believe to adjust it and the turn it back on to see where it idles. I've heard if you adjust it while the car is running that it has no effect whatsoever (?)

it should be at about 900 rpm for idle, as per the fsmq

TPS must be unplugged when adjusting.

i've never unplugged the TPS for adjusting. And I adjusted it while it was running. 800 rock steady.

Yep, never had any problems with the idle screw while the motor was on with the TPS plugged in...and I had a terrible idle problem a little while ago lol

Hmm.. oh well, mine doesn't do crap, and neither did the idle adjustment screw on my KA, so I guess I suck.

be SUPER careful when adjusting it...make sure you adjust the nut so its tight against the throttle unit again...mine came loose and fell out...fortunately i found an AWESOME substitute....a LONG alan wrench screw a nut and a lock washer....its SO easy to adjust my idle now hehehehe....but i keep mine set at 1100 rpms (setting yer idle higher when you vent atmostpherically helps keep the car from dying or flooding the engine with TONS of gas)

the screw is plastic and is a phillips head on it. It was initially pretty hard to move around but just slap some anti-seize on the bugger and it'll move just fine. Also if you pull out the idle plug, you'll notice it's got a small cap on the end used to plug up the valve if screwed down all the way so dunno how good an idea DJ's idea of using a screw is. But then again if it works why not.

Clean the IACV maybe? Neutral position switch unplugged? Refer to FSM to adjust idle.
