my speedometer is not working, you know the drill

i just got threw with a 5 speed swap and now my speedometer does not work. i'm thinking i didn't wire or connect something right, if you know how to fix this problem please tell me.

The rpm's and everthing else work just not the speed....i have no clue

It seems to me like your on the right track. Just follow your wiring from the speed sensor on the trany and make sure everything has a good connection, and is wired up in the correct manner.Did you use butt connectors? If so get rid of them and soldier all of it. Butt connectors have a good chance of cutting your wires over time.

There isn't anything wrong with butt connectors, just don't squeeze the s*** out of them when you clamp them down. I've been using them for years when I work on someones well and the wiring needs to be replaced. I haven't ever had a problem with them.

I suppose its just a matter of personal preference. I prefer to have all my stuff soldiered and heat shrinked.
