My Speedometer(digital) doesnt work....help!!!

I just bought a 240 and the year is 89 off of a friend of mine, there is a few things wrong but the main thing is the speedometer, it seems as if there is no power, how would i go about fixing that? is it a hard task and is it costly?

It could just be your cluster. Sometimes the HUD goes bad try putting an analog cluster in and see if that fixes the prob.
