My sohc 9.1 or 8.6 compression?

Someone posted that 7/88 through 10/88 were the only 9.1 compression engines. The thing is after 10/88 it says an air temp sensor was added on. My date is 10/88. My car has an air temp sensor though so is mine the 8.6?
