Sure anything is possible.Robsx_se wrote:I wonder if i could get an shifter like that for a stock auto 240
*changes pants* Well thats quite sexy.I would say a real car has 3 pedals, but i dont wanna get rapped by your carOutToWinPAHC wrote:Looks pretty nice I thinkBy they way what goes in that hole next to the lighter? I bought it with that missing.
Manual and autos all have their place. This cars mostly show, weekens, ad gonna see some track time. And I wanna rip it up at the track, no time for shifting. This trans here slams gears, its has a stage 3 shift kit. It is a happy medium. I have a TCI powerglide, but on the street it would be horrible (2 speed) but best trans for the quarter excluding gragsters, top fuel, funnycars.91Sarasota240SX wrote:

Yeah, I was just thinking that having an OD gear would be nice for the street, as well as a locking TCC. As for the track, I'm sure you'll quickly make friends with that dog low first gear that the 700/4l60 share.OutToWinPAHC wrote:It was a 1500 dollar brand new race trans I had for another engine I was going to use. So I wanted to put it to good use, The 4L60e is the same as a 700R4 but the shift points are electronic. I'll see how long I get this one to last, but I may step up to a built 4L60e. The stock 4L60's need to be worked up a little. This TH350 is built for race and will do good at the track.
Turbo 350 is aka TH350 aka Turbo Hydromatic 350. Its just a trans type for GM cars
