my service light is on, pls. anyone i need some advice?

hello everyone! i just install a fujita dual short ram intake on my Z by the time i turn my car the service light is on. and when i step on the gas seems like there is a engine cut off when i reached 2500 rpm i need some advice? thanks for looking up and best luck and health to you all this year!

Well, if that were true, your car would run fine. Maybe you did not plug it in well enough or you missed something. Check it again!

Aftermarket parts only void the warranty if they are still on the car when it goes back to the dealer

Did you disconect your battery?

You should take out the mafs and check if you have som oil on them. The Filter comes in oiled already but they put too much on it. Not all the time but it happened before. That can cause malfunction.

Try to reset you ecu. Disconect the battery and press the gas several times and connect your battery back.

It should help.

Agree with the others if you have to take it back to the dealer make sure you put the oem intake back.

thanks you all for your ideas. i finally fixed my problem, it was the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR! I put the other one in the wrong direction. everything is good now thank you all once again! more power to this site!

same here.. that was a good save! i was about to take the car to the tuning shop.. lolz. the car sounds good now and i feel the difference its a lot quicker.

It is weird you can't do that with the stillen. It only fits one way.

i heared stillen is good, fujita was just my first choice. i thought made in japs are better. hang loose !!!!! money is not an object!

hey i took my z to pep boys(big mistake) i couldnt figure out why my ac wasnt working. they did some diagnostics on it and now my cars brake and abs light is always on. can i just disconnect my battery and gas a couple of times and it should be fine?

im not sure if its going to work but give it a try.

MAKE SURE U DIDNT INSTALL THE MAF BACKWARDS! Weve seen this in our shop and it took the master tech 3 days to notice it. REDONKULOUS! Good luck!
