I thought I'd share with you my second sound system installation. My first system was audaciaously stolen out of my car late one night and it took me nearly six months to get everything together and rebuilt. I have to say that I am not a true audiophite and certainly no expert. I just want to have a better than average system but it's not high end components or necessarily the best.

My first system was more elaborate with fiberglass sub boxes which I built to snuggly fit inside my S14 trunk. The first picture shows this set up.

The first system was designed to be removed in the event that I needed to get to my spare. The modualr system made it possible to remove the components with relative ease, (I guess the thieves that sole it discovered that too). The current unit is a bit more straight forward and less concerned about access to spare since I carry it in my back seat now. I have pictures of the build up and will share them with you if you like, but I also don't knwo how to post multiple pictures in a single post, if you can help me with that I will be glad to share my experience and project build.

I second that thought. What were the dimensions for everything to fit in the fiberglass enclosure?
