Man my drivers seats are shot in both cars! Should I just have an upholstery shop redo them? What are my other options? Is there a nice aftermarket seat that is easy to install? I'd really like to get a set of leather ones.

There is no aftermarket seat that qualifies as "easy" to install. Well that is if you don't want to feel like you drive in the nosebleeds.

I was thinking both my passenger seats are in great shape. I've got to take a look at them tommorow. The drivers seat is bad on the side bolsters from getting in and out. I'm gonna take apart my passenger seat & swipe the foam/padding. Along with the unripped cover & put them on my drivers seat. Well at least that is my plan. We'll see how it actually works!

my solution is to go find yourself a decent set of S14 seats if you don't want to get all crazy stupid over sourcing some aftermarket seats that will make you feel like you're driving in a big rig.

the only aftermarket seat that comes to mind that sits near stock level is one of the JIC seats. They designed the rails to sit outbound of the hump so the seat will sit low.

SO I went ahead & pulled the padding & cover off my good extra passenger seat (from my parts car). Very easy & I got it swaped over to my drivers seat. Looks great & feels tons better. Anyway it was a good, easy & very cheap fix. A good alternative to getting new seats alltogether
