Depending on how long you're planning on keeping the car, new leather is a great way to go. Not as expensive as you might think. I got an estimate to have both seat bottoms and the arm rest done on Q1 a few years back... less than $400 if I remember correctly.
I saw some of their work, and it can be done to look like OEM. There were some very nice cars at this place that's buried in the ghetto behind a junk yard and car dealership...
