Thanks to everyone on this group who answered questions from me over the past month.

I ended up with a 2007 Twilight Blue M45 Sport w/ Tech and Stone Interior(i think that's the color and name)

The pre-purchase inspection was well worth the $109. The tech brought me in the garage and pointed out and explained everything that wasn't 100%. I know it's under warranty and had a clean title but will sleep better tonight with the PPI.

My first annoyance is the turn signal blinking noise, that I didn't notice on test drives( 4 over a month). Anyone know how to turn down the sound or off completly?

I really want to find a professional detail shop in Phoenix, if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be very appreciated.

Thanks again

The best way to quiet down the turn signal 'noise' is to... turn up the radio.

But seriously, it is the sound of the relay clicking, and I don't find it too obtrusive, when compared to other cars I have owned/driven.

You can prolly wrap the relay up in some sound deadening fabric - but be careful not to generate too much heat

BTW, congrats on a sweet ride. How much was it?

Come on you 100+ lurkers. No one thinks there signal is loud? Ok so you are shy thats ok

Anyway, Yes I agree turning up the Bose fixes that. I did notice today on my loaner from the dealer that the signal on the EX is much quieter.

I ended up getting the 2007 M45 Sport for $26K before taxes and those darn fees. Its not a smoking deal but for AZ its actually a very fair price. I had 4 dealers looking for me plus I was searching online and basically the M35's is going for 25K and the M45's for $26K. Also a nice thing about the car is its on a second set of Bridgestones, and theres at least 9 months of tread left so that saves me $1000 which I expected to come out of pocket for immediately.

Call me crazy but I have a feeling used cars aren't going to go down much further. I think the demand for used is going to increase over the year and hopefully hold u prices a little.

I am still looking for a professional Detail company in Phoenix. Come out you lurkers I know you have all the answers.

Congrats. I too purchased my M used about 2 months ago. I have a M35X...need the all wheel drive in the northeast. Also have twilight blue although I have the wheat interior. Love the car and you will too. The signal relay doesn't bother me. My prior car (accord) had so much road noise and the signal relays were so much louder that this is an upgrade for me. Enjoy. Happy Holidays.

Hey, congrats to both the new buyers. I also upgraded from a 99 Accord to 2007 M35 Sport. Huge upgrade for me. I think the turn signal sound is much better than accord. Instead of click click...it is more like tuck tuck...if you know what I mean
