My search-fu is weak...halp (NICO member with a new automatic rifle and a vert?)

For the life of me, I cannot find this thread. It was from last year or the year before and it was a thread on a member's new toy...a rifle that I remember looking like an AUG HBAR (not sure if that's what it was) and I remember a couple of the shots were with the rifle on the passenger seat of an S13 vert. Does this ring bells with anyone?

the AUG look a like is the MSAR STG-556

I can't remember for sure but I do believe it's actually an improved version of the semi auto Steyr

they usually get pretty positive reviews...but I think for the money I'd probably get nice AR and shoot tighter groups with it and have a huge aftermarket of parts and accessories.

Just picked up another addition to the collection.....

Not even 24hrs of owning it and I drilled 5 holes in the stock to mount the laser. The lasers were a factory option on several LEO/full auto models only and FN doesn't sell replacement stocks, so it took a few beers to convince myself to actually go through with it.

Now to go class 3 and chop the barrel down to "proper" length, once I'm 21 and get my tax stamp that is

Still have yet to fire it, but I plan to put a couple hundred rounds through it this weekend if I can afford it.
