Right after I got my Murano a solicitor came through our parking lot at work placing ads on windshields. They must have been wearing an exposed belt buckle which left a small scratch right above the wheel well on the drivers side. The scratch was proudly on display everytime I approached the vehicle....I'm real picky about my cars and this was driving me crazy!
I purchased a product called QUIXX which claims to be able to remove scratches using the cars own paint. I'll be darned if the stuff didn't do what it claims. I just wish I got before and after pictures.
The only thing visible is a tiny speck where I used touchup paint on the exposed primer and I could probably get rid of that using 3000 grit sandpaper before applying another application of this stuff. I may go ahead and do that but the repair seems to be good enough that it's not going to jump out at me. Maybe I'll just leave it as is.
