Probably 15 psi or so. Not on the smic though. Get a FMIC. I don't think the head gasket is gonna be the issue, your fuel and such will give much before it. Good luck...

Do you have an upgraded fuel pump? I wouldn't start cranking up the boost with the stock one. $100 dollar high pressure Walbro is alot cheaper than a new motor. I think 10psi is tops on the stock sidemount. With a FMIC 14psi is where the T25/T28 tops out.

Just to echo what's already been said...10psi should be the highest that you go with a stock setup. I don't see the piping for a FMIC so I assume that you have a Side mount. The stock t28 will be past its efficiency over 15 psi so don't bother boosting past this because you'll lose power. The fuel pump has to be upgraded just like rudee already pointed out. I have a similar setup. Take a look at the link in my sig!

He said that he has a Hybrid FMIC.

On a stock T28, 18 is about your ceiling, but don't run that as it will max out your MAF and the turbo itself. With the right fuel controller (SAFC) you should be able to hold 15-16psi on your stock injectors, but the pump is the issue right now. As far as on the street, with the upcomming heat of summer, I would keep it down to 1bar at most. Clean car man. Have fun with her:)

Car looks really nice the motor as well. I'm a big fan of those rims.
