My S14... Progress....

Ok, I don't know if you remember me...I'm Tom from israel...I have an S14 A/t (not any more... ), I'vemodified her a bit, thought i should let you guys know, This forum provided me a lot of help, We have only 7 Silvia's in israel, and only 2 m/t's (3 now), no one is tuned, so i had no place except here to find answers, my main help is matt sasskin, he helped me a lot! and for that i thank him...

So the thing i've done are those:A/t to M/t Swap,B&M Short ShiftetrHKS twin plate clutch kit,Nismo fork pivot,Nismo Trani and Engine Mounts,nismo clutch line,Walbro 255LPH Fuel pump,Haltech E11 ECMGreddy R-SPL intercooler kit,Greddy TI Exaust system,Greddy Profec B B/CGreddy Intake plenum,Greddy Type S BOV300ZX Fuel Filter.

And some thing's I have but not installed yet,Tomei cylinder head (complete had with cam's, retainers, lifters, bla bla bla, rated for 10K RPM)RC Engeeniring 550's Injectors.

now, my main problem is, I haven't decided what turbo to buy, I am going to order the Tomei 2.2 stroker kit,i have a dilema between a GT35/40R with the 106 AR, or a T66...and...i can't find a manifold that worths the money.

what do you guys say?i will love to here advices...

Well, I'm not qualified to give you advice. It sounds like you're way more knowlegeable than I am. You are certainly further down the mod path than I am. Nice to see that the S14s are in another country such as Israel.

Why not look into the Precision series turbos? ... the SC61 is a good street turbo and makes upwards of 500whp. Either that or a GT35/40R like you said, except I'd keep the A/R around .86 or so.

i want know how you exhaust sounds? i have that same exhaust for my sr but havent finished that motor so i dont know how it sounds. oh shoot it is time to go home and work on the motor now... =)

The exaust is pretty loud....but has a nice sound

The 550's is for the stock T28, for the larger turbo i'll need at least 850's...

The 4'th cylinder coil wire have touched the manifold shielding, and damaged the 4'th coil and the ignition module...So i've installed an MSD DIS-4 with 2 double coil's...The car runs better now, and significally more powerfull...

I've wired a WideBand A/F sensor, and tuned it a bit, it was flooded like hell, 9:1 on boost...set it to 11.5...and my ignition map is pretty low... only 13 degrees on 15PSI...i'll set it this weekend....

for now, i don't really think i'll buy a turbo, i'm considering an RB swap... (the first RB in israel)and A T88 on it, and i'm good

i'll see how i'll progress with it, and ket you guys know...
