Ok so just to let you guys know my turbo HP will be low... There BIG fan used to dyno was broken... So we used a house fan (lmao) to cool down the car after each run...

Also my boost is a little jumpy... It likes to go between 7.3 and 8.0 allot... I'll get this worked out soon.

So here it is... The long awaited dyno's

this is to the wheel...

Stock HP = 125Stock TQ = 137

Turbo HP = 188Turbo TQ = 204

Go here for the pick on the chart...

lmao...

I just looked at my dyno chart in a different view (I have the program)

It took me 6 seconds less time to go from 40 mph to 110 mph with my turbo.

Hmmm. That's about 25 less hp than me with basically the same setup. Do you have the ignition harness?

Yeah I have the ignision harness...

My timing is at -5 under boost.

I know my car has issues...

If you look at my base dyno... that was with my flywheel and exaust on.

I needa get my own wideband system... I'm not sure if I like this shop I'm tuning at... its $65 an hour. But that have a hand held wideband that they cant record data on.

How much power loss is there from no air on the intercooler? I think I lost allot.

maybe so, but at 7 pounds, i can't believe it would be as much as 25whp. i still believe your running too rich. did you get any detonation when you were at stock timing? what other issues does your engine have?

I have never run boost on any less then -3 timing...

I'm not sure what issues my engine might have... I think my compression was at like 190's a year or so ago... I guess I could check that again...

I hit .80 - .90 volts on my O2 when under full throttle...

When they were reading my a/f it was at the tail pipe... and I have a cat... So I dont thing they were to accrate...

Thats why i'ma get a wideband system installed befor I bother with more...

(are the apexi speed meter accreate for HP?)

If you have a cat still--that may be your 25 hp difference right there--especially if its an old one that may be clogged up some.Oh--and it looks like its time for a z32 maf upgrade--lol.

the apex'i speed meter is actually pretty accurate.

Yeah I'm guna get a quote on someone building me a mid pipe to replace my cat... I think that will free some up...

And I'm guna get that wideban O2 real soon... I think I'm still to rich...

Btw I cant find where to get a 300zx MAF... Of corse I might just use the MAP on the E-manage... It will only cost me $5 to get the cord and then I dont need a MAF when I go out of range of it...

Thanks for the input.

You'd be surprised how much horsepower can be lost without proper air flow...read this article they published in the latest Car and Driver, it's quite interesting.http://www.caranddriver.com/ar...=8020
