My s14 isn't starting/low voltage

i just got done testing the DC voltage and its reading 9.83. I know thats bad.

when i got in the car and tried to start it, there was a rapid clicking noise, and the only way it could turn off was when you turn the lights on, also the clock light was flashing.

i just recently got the battery over winter, would the problem be the alternator? would i need new terminals also(Dark grey color) and maybe a new battery?

i have a kenwood headunit and kicker kx650's.

the battery in your car is no good first start with new battery it should be 12.6 start car then check votage it should be 14v if not alternator is bad.

if its your alt your batt light should have been on the last time you started it, check to make sure all terminals are tight, and heres the bad news... if it started the last time and drove fine then you let it set and it lost voltage you may have a parasitic draw from somewhere...ie your stereo or amp... not to wory though heres how ya find out. take your negative off and run a amp meter( available bout anywhere for fairly cheep) between the neg pole and the neg cable(in line) make sure the car is off and all doors and suck are closed. you should see .03 ma . if its more start pulling fuses starting with your stereo and amp till the draw drops or goes away. what ever circuit you pulled is where your draaw is. fix ... enjoy. but if it ended up being your alt or just a bad cell in your batt, at lease you might have picked something up from reeding all that either way good luck
