holding the camera with my left hand. using my knee to hold the steering wheel still while shifting.

Ok, this might sound stupid, but in the pics with the adapter plate bolted on to the block. The starter cut out wasn't aligned up so what did you do there? I might of missed it but either way that thing sounds sexy!!

yup going for it. not gonna push it like jeffs but 650 will be good enough for me, i also have swapped over to the aem cas disc. the one that you want to use is the rb-vg disc from aem

well good news and bad news.

i'll start with the good. first pull it put down 550 hp with 560 ftlbs of torque this was only on wastegate spring at 11 psi!!!! also didn't have the cam switch on yet either

bad news is second pull on very conserviative timing it started to leak coolant from under the passenger side head. so i think i made a bad choice on head gaskets and reusing the stock bolts..

so basicly we pulled it off the dyno at that point and we trailered it home.

i'm now debating on what to do with it.

i'm thinking head studs some mls gaskets and possibly upgrade the valve train over the winter. since the season is pretty much over anyway.

or i find a 94 vh in the junk yard and pull the motor and just run it without pulling it apart...

that sucks, but congrats on the numbers. I say stud the engine.....you took the time to clean her up and rebuild her.

I agree pull the heads and change the studs. what size cams are you thinking about going too? I know Franklin cams in NZ makes cams and prob Kelford for the VH since they are popular down under.

thanks guys!
here are a few pics of my avcr integrated into the nx1600 gauge cluster where the clock used to be. and then i used a d-pad from a game controller and the stock rocker switch for previous and next buttons. also q45 ignition is a perfect swap for the s13. makes a nice finishing touch

excuse the rough finish around the buttons, i was in a hurry to get it done and didn't have time to get out body filler and sand. its just roughed down epoxy.
