Off the top of my head it sounds like crank position sensor. But to be honest with you I'm really not sure if our cars have them. Almost all newer cars do, but I'm not sure if they were used on simplier cars like ours.

Sometimes when CKP's go bad, they fail when they heat up and then let the car start again when they cool down. But even when that happens, the car will usually crank. That's a weird little quirk you got there, sorry I couldn't be more help, but I'll think about it for awhile

Edit - Shot in the dark...ECU? Only reason I say that is because when you say you pull the ignition fuse, it'll start.....another idea, distrubitor? The control mod inside it could be failing when it heats up.
