Here is when I bought it awhile ago:
Basically stripped out everything and found tons of rust under filler on the body:
Painted the engine bay after fixing some rust issues:
Ordered and mounted up a RB25DET
Next I finished up repairing all of the rust holes and welded in all new metal in the quaters and rockers. At this time I also under coated the entire under body and painted the subframes with Eastwood 2K Chassis Black Gloss. I remounted the rear subframe with solid mounts. I then sanded the entire body and then shot some of Eastwood's 2K Urethane Primer:
Then I sprayed the body with Eastwood's Urethane Paint:
Before beginning the paint I upgrade the motor with a Holset HX35 Turbo, 555cc Injectors, New 3in intercooler piping all powder coated, and Nistune z32 ECU.
I spray all the color and clear and have still not started to cut and buff the paint to get a perfect final finish. I sprayed the car outside using the Eastwood Concours Spray Gun and this was my first car ever painting, after doing some research and watching a DVD I learned a lot and the paint came out awesome and still is'nt even buffed yet! I needed to upgrade the wheels so I added some 17in 350z wheels.
I am trying to get the car to PSI Proformance to get it tuned within the next 2 weeks. I will make sure to post tuning vids and photos of the engine bay once finish! Let me know what you think I will update this when I get to the tuner.
