I came across a craigslist ad for some 300ZX brakes for $190 (for all 4 calipers!). Sounding to good to be true, I went out to get therm. I was pleasantly surprised...

Turns out, the calipers are of the 30mm Aluminum variety and came with brand new seals, clips, and pads. An older chap bought them years ago with intent to put them on his old 300. Never got around to it and just wanted to unload them.... no argument. for under $200 they were mine. (paint job was less than desirable but i can have them powder coated later)

I also began reassembling the rear subframe. Suddenly, the black Energy Suspension Bushings seem way more appealing lol.

Next was the power brace... I boxed off the brackets and cut a piece of .120 DOM tubing that I had laying around shot it with a coat of my favorite accent color, "blinding neon green"

I would now like to dedicate this moment to my very neglected Nismo.

A really awesome lady-friend took some nice BW photos of the car before I decided to park her for the winter. This was my favorite. Alas, now it is time to upgrade that horrifying cooling system

LOL and thats as far as i got... Stillen oil cooler and power steering cooler are coming soon. I plan to do a small install thread of both, for the 370 Nismo owners. Sometime after Christmas that is.

Back in drift car land, Electrical Yoda, and Junior came by to talk stupid and hammer things. We also decided it was much better to work in the garage as opposed to 30 degrees outside

Junior began prepping for the S&W Race Cars roll cage that will be put in

Electrical Yoda in his natural, rattle can pose. He also volunteered to loom my chassis harness... better him than me.

Now came the moment of truth. I picked up 2 racing seats from a co workers drag car for the cost of a case of beer. I was worried that they would sit too high so i did the only thing i knew how to do, build the lowest possible seat rails i could. I cut up the factory slider rails and began working up a set up that would almost bolt the buckets to the floor boards. Sadly, my 6'4" frame, was pressed against the roof (without a helmet)
Looks like im going with Bride Low Max and their insane low rail set up... ugh, anyone want to sell me a set??!!!

I made some quick foot plates for the tower brace in the rear, cut another piece of extra .120 and gave the slide car some rigidity.

I will do my best to update more frequently, sorry for the absence, i know i suck.
