my car got broke into lastnight and they pulled out my afc neo. now the car acts like it has a stutter box the highest it will rev is about 3.5 rpm's.but it sounds like im launching off a stutter box....i pulled off the computer cover and checked the wires and they all seem to be ok...would a disconnected afc do this? and also when i try to drive it, it runs like complete s***....the car ran great before this crap happend..if u have any idea please let me kno..thanx

yuppers bro..your afc runs your duity cycles for your injectors and air/fuel mix..im not familiar with your specific set up but im shure it uses O2 sensors and the MAF too to controll injector pulse..wire it back to stock and look around ebay for a replacement...nows the time for a deal in this economy.

Yes it definitely would do that.

It's because when you install an safc you have to cut the mafs wire adn wire it in with the afc. But when you unplug the afc you're supposed to loop it back together otherwise you'll be in limp mode because of the mafs circuit being open.

So long story short loop the mafs wire back together. *white wire*

I dont have a safc but I plan on getting on when I go turbo. I think I am going to hide it also like behind the glove box or even in the engine bay. I hate thiefs and think they should all be put to sleep.

if by put to sleep you mean killed in as much pain as possible,... then i agree lol. i had a b16a swapped civic stolen from me last year... over 4K of my hard earned money, not counting man hours.. ruined in one night by a couple jackasses... it sucks, sorry to hear about your afc dude.
