Hi guys, I'm new here so I just thought I'd introduce myself and street S13. I've had it for a few years now and have always been a Datsun/Nissan fan owning a couple of 510's, one of which I dropped an SR20DET into in 2000. I then purchased my S13 already packing a Trust T88-34D which I tampered with until it got into the 10's on radials. Unfortunately I didn't get it to 60ft when it ran 10.6 @ 137mph (1.96 60ft) and due to not having a cage I wasn't allowed back.
After it started filling the catch can I learnt that the 2.2 litre stroker it was supposed to have was non existant. The engine had a rocker stopper kit, Poncams, forged pistons and the bottom end had been sleeved, but everything else was completely stock internally. We were cranking 29psi into it and producing 520hp at the wheels (pump and toluene mix).
My driving style was way too harsh for the gearbox though (Z31 turbo 5 speed with OS Giken internals) and I broke two selector forks on two occasions. It was at the time that I bit the bullet and installed a PPG helical cut dog gear set. It took a bit of getting used to but it's the best money I've spent and I'll never go back to a synchro box again.
So I started fresh with a new import engine and used Tomei parts for the pistons and rods. HKS step 2 264/272 cams and valve springs were chosen and the T88-34D kit has been placed up for sale in favour of a HKS GT3037S 56T with a 0.73 A/R. Sard 1000cc injectors in a Sard rail and GReddy plenum now live in the bay too. It is all controlled by a Haltech E8 with anti-lag which I needed to get the T88 on boost (6000rpm).
Now the SR makes 391hp at the wheels on 98 pump fuel and ran 11.0 @ 131.33mph on Nitto 225's and 11.2 @ 134mph. On E85 (460hp) I have run 10.7 @ 134mph, the race weight was 2800lb with me. It isn't at it's potential yet, high 130mph is on the cards but I now plan to use a P12 '20V' head and my sleeved bottom end and of course, a bigger turbo.
Here's the link to my vids, hope you enjoy.

The old setup... Never needed to get on the brake to do this! The Prodrive GC-06's with lower profile rubber did wonders for the handling
