Here are some plates I made to throw some alpine type r 6.5 components into the door.

I used fiberboard for the base plate then I had to build up the speaker with some mdf cut at a angle so the magnet would clear the window.

I am realy happy with these speakers.

I also ran new wires for the speakers, the stock wires are so damn small.

I couldnt use the stock grilles and the ones that came with the alpines didnt cover the stock hole so I used some infinity 6x9 grilles I had layin around just need to take the logo off them.

I put the crossovers in the doors to keep the wires as short as possible theres plenty of room in the passenger door, things are a little tighter in the driver door but I found a spot.

Ive got a alpine 7995 head unit wich is a preamp only and two phoenix gold 10's powered by a pg zx500 and old mtx 4320 4 channel to power the mids and highs. All I need to do is get something to replace the janky infinitys I threw in the rear deck and finish my trunk and my system will be done. I dont have any pics of the trunk but its nothing to look at anyway. I'm not super happy with the 6x9 grilles up front but they get the job dun for now.

here is an old thread of mine

Heres my deck, I realy dont like today's decks, its hard to get a quality deck thats not blingin the hell outa the whole interior, Part of the reason I went with the alpine was because it is a little more simple. I also dont like fold down faces all that much but once again you cant find a good deck that doesnt fold down and bling the hell out of you at night. This thing even on the low brightness was killing me at night so I took it apart and put little pieces of tint over every led in the damn thing after that it is much better. Overall after the light modification im pretty happy with the thing.
