my s12 progress...

so i finally got my s12 up and running... good god its hard to belive this is the same series motor as whats in my s13! it has no balls, and it has no top end! its like a dog all the way through the rev range. no worries, i recently aquired that s13 parts car with a twin cam KA thats now sitting in the garage awaiting its new home in the s12's engine bay. i'm interested to see what an additional 50 hp will do to this light car



also got some new shoes (14 inch datsun 240z rims that DO clear the brakes) but no tires... so i slipped some 15 inch tires over top for these pictures (thats why they're flat)...









my driveway during this whole motor pulling business! and my roommate with the s13 parts car.



CA20E. did a waterpump, timing belt, acces. belts, spark plugs and wires, cap and rotor, and other misc. maintenance things to it... idles and runs really smooth!

thanks! I got them for $80 off ebay... i was a little concerned that they wouldn't clear my brakes because they are only 14 inch, but they do!
