My shiny black Rogue got hit from behind by an inattentive 16 yr old driver in his mom's minivan. The force pushed me into the car in front as well, damaging the front and rear of my car He was probably going about 25mph and failed to stop.

I had a bike rack on the back connected to a hitch. That took the brunt of it and saved the car from significant damage I believe. The rack disabled his car by going right threw his radiator. The hitch and rack are both toast.

I ordered a new hitch but it was from a different mfr. and turns out that it is a little different and won't allow my rack (I will buy the same rack as before) to fold up. So I'm going to sell this one and get the one I had before. It's a Class III hitch by Hidden Hitch. Brand new. Just don't want to return it because of the hefty restocking fee they charge. Easy to install - 6 bolts. Nothing to move out of the way. Comes with instructions. If you want it, PM me. I'm asking $105 including shipping (as long as shipping doesn't exceed $30).

I would suggest posting an ad for your hitch in the classifieds section of the forum.

No I had to cut that one apart using a recipro saw - the rack and hitch were fused together.
