Yes. I found the car I wanted but the dealer was awful to deal with and I saved over $3000 by going elsewhere and waiting.

The dealer I bought from told me 6-8 weeks but I don't think they placed the order until I called 3-4 weeks into it to check on it. My salesman quit/got fired about that time too so I think I got screwed timewise.

To top it off, when I showed up for delivery, it was the wrong car! They ordered the blonde interior instead of the charcoal. Luckily the one I wanted was just shipped to another dealer and they made the swap the next day. They threw in the chrome/silver grille, moonroof deflector and kick plates that I didn't order. I am still not sure about the moonroof thing but I am leaving it on for now.

No problem, here is the best front view pic I have now. The grille is an insert over the regular black one.

Great car!

I would definitely remove the deflector and the grille as well. I just don't think that chome is a good fit on it, but hey, to each his own. Anyway, great car!

Congrats on the new ride. I have the same one too. Not feelin' the grill though...too much chrome and I painted the chrome mustaches on mine red. Looks a hell of alot better IMO. Loose the deflector too...you'll be glad you did!

IMO the grill doesnt look so bad on the red car (btw, ur car looks very clean!) The other pics I have seen of the same grill are ugly, but ur pics are not so bad. Congrats!

I agree, the grill doesn't look all that bad. I'd still prefer if there isn't all that much chrome, but definitely better lookin on the Code Red than other colors

What a journey you had to go through to get your hands on the car. But, I'm sure it was worth the wait. Nice ride!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I might pop off the deflector this weekend. But I like the grille. Maybe when I get tired of it, I'll take it off and have a new black grille for free.

Now I just need some license plate frames and dump those dealer frames.

The trouble I went through getting it is already forgotten, although writing the first payment check next month might stir up some memories.

congrats i wanted either silver or red and 6 speed but on the 4th of July (when i got mine) they only had 1 3.5SE and it was dark slate with CVT. my dad was buying me the car and i didn't want him to change his mind so i just got the dark slate 3.5SE. only upgrades are CVT and Altima mats if you call that an upgrade lol sorta wish i did wait now that i'm hearing CVT wont take Turbo.... but i like my car.
