(1st off, sorry for the bad quality videos) .. like always.. sounds better in person.

So here's my take on the Stillen headers with and without the greddy Ti-c.So lets start with the headers only on stock exhaust: not loud at all, good compromise because you don’t loose too much low end torque but you can feel it pull in the mid to high band around 3900rpms, the bad thing (IMO) is that its too quiet and almost sounds stock so for me it left me wanting that deep tone that lets people know "Aw $hit, watch out" --Stillen headers only: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0unsLf6ghg

Okay, now for the headers with greddy ti-c and NO silencer:... WAY TOO LOUD!! Almost embarrassing and freeway driving is too much too handle.. Power-wise.. you feel the loss in the low rpm band but definitely make it up in the mid to mostly high RPMS.. it pulls nice and before you know it you're going down the freeway at 90-100mph and don’t even realize it.. but too loud in my opinion. Here are some clips driving on the freeway and revving.--Stillen headers and Greddy Ti-c no silencers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA0GBEc4czo--Freeway driving in cabin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=---zKAvB4qw

Now with headers, Greddy ti-c and with silencers on: I liked this the best, very drivable and not too loud but you still get that deep rumble and freeway driving is nice.. you still feel the loss in the low rpms but feel the most in the mid band and some high.. Sounds beautiful when you floor it and not rice at all. I know Greddy is not for everyone and the blue tips aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but its what I like and that’s really what matters.--Stillen headers with Greddy Ti-c and silencers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QulEo0EuwIg

"Aw $hit, watch out" < we have a 2.5 lol

Video 1 - the stock exhaust setup sounds terrible, i cant wait to get an exhaust.

But your crazy if you cant tell a difference between the header and stock header. My boy and i got in my car the other day and were pulling out of my parking lot. I have a 6mt and i feathered the throttle and he just started yellin damn i can hear that s***.

Ive said it before the noise is up front and not in the back.

Video 2 - weed whacker?

Video 3 - no shifting cvt lol. i see 2 orange lights. one is the ses! get the bd tuner

Video 4 - sounds better than video 2.

Nice review

Damm it Sloppy drunk.. why you gotta rain on my parade.. j/kLike i said in the beginning.. Videos will never do it justice and anyone thats done it before will tell you the same... does not sound anything like it does in person.. this is just so peeps can get an idea of what to expect. Ahumm.. now to reply to your comments...

1. Yes, stock exhaust setup sounds like crap. Crazy? maybe a little bit but since you have a 6mt and I have a CVT maybe theres a difference in the sound, maybe? and yes' (Like I mentioned before) you can hear a slight tone change, a bit deeper but nothing drastic. I agree, the Stillen headers sound best when you floor it but not much of a difference driving normally and my buddy agrees, not much of a change in noise but for the record !!!it does sound different from stock but not much!!!About the noise being up in front and nothing the back? I mean, its not like im going to pull a car over in the freeway and tell him.. no' no' you see, the noise is in the front and not the back, thats why you cant hear my headers.. Maybe we have different noise expectations from headers since ive always been a classic mustang guy.

2. Sounds like a weed whacker because of the video.. my buddy was with me and test drove it and couldn’t believe it was a 4 banger.. (Sounds much deeper in tone) he really liked the deep sound, I didnt.

3. Nope.. no shifting.. Just wanted to give peeps an idea of how loud it is.. and yup, that’s the SES light.. I'm just waiting to hear some positive reviews on the BD Tuner for the 2.5L.. so far I think I’ve only heard Mcheddadi saying its awesome so that really caught my attention but so far haven’t heard anything for the 2.5L.. Want to make sure before I drop $300+ bones.

4. Yes, sound the best in my opinion but not as deep as without the silencer but its drivable. I would highly recommend you get an exhaust and ill say it again.. Videos will never do an exhaust justice. Thank you for your comments Sloppy drunk, much appreciated.. Really

Nice Review man, It doesn't sound very good in the video but I'm sure it sounds good in real life : >.

Why your SES is on ?

Can you plz post video 0-100 MPH or whatever so we can compare the performance between the stock and with the header.

Thanks brotha... (Yeah, videos sound like crap) well, I got the SES light because I got lazy and didnt add the flange adapter when I installed the headers but I was thinking that I would get the BD tuner later and get rid of it.. So in a nutshell, just plain lazy or i'd like to think.. efficient because I was going to get rid of it later on but theres no worry, nothing wrong really. As for the 0-100mph.. Cool, ill post another video soon and film it from 0-100mph on a complete stop... but I can tell you this much.. If you floor it I usually get to 100mph way faster than stock.. thats for sure and the engine roars and sounds bad a$$ (Not like a lawn mower) reaguardless of what anyone says.. (Bacause I've driven both 2.5L and 3.5L and the 4 banger packs in a nice punch.. Next mod is my stillen side skirts, just got them and need to paint them next week.. Thanks Kenny @ Stillen.

I would say your videos are the best quality ive seen so far. I guess what i didnt understand would be the possible distortion even though it sounded good.

Yupppp we have a different expectation of header(s). Mustang guy

I would say at freeway speeds you wouldnt be able to tell that i have a header or not, so i see your point there.

I have the bd tuner and its the s***. I got a 2.5. As mehdi said the power is there sooner. Im not sure if there is more power over all (i think there is), but the power you already have you get sooner. And my gas mileage sucks a** now with the premium tune. But if you filmed the way i drive you would see why.

BTW bd has a try it before you buy it. With 30 days to try it out, u will see if its worth it or not.

I was over at my parents house about 2 hours ago. I DIY all my mods and was discussing an exhaust project with my pops. I want to get the stillen axle back and go straight pipe from the header. He isnt to happy but we shall see what happens.

Get the bd tuner and give a review lol

Does this mean that you or your pops are going to remove the catalytic converters? Am I reading this correctly about the straight pipe from the header?

Don't you live in a state that has emission testing? What are you going to do, reinstall the converters for the test?

Thinking about it.

Yup i live in PA, and we do have emission testing.

The car was inspected and tested in august. At this point with the stillen header it wont pass inspection. So id be taking the header off already, how long is one pipe gonna take? Im not sure if the BD tune would effect emissions or not.

Just an idea im kicking around.

Thanks buddy!, Nice video and nice acceleration stock 2.5 altima can do 0-100 MPH in 22.91-23.2 according to dragtimes http://www.dragtimes.com/Nissa....html and http://www.dragtimes.com/Nissa....html , You did it in less than 21 sec which is very good .

But that make me wonder if KM dashboard that we have here is accurate or not cuz we do 0-100 MPH (161 KM) in about 17 sec, Which some how huge difference between our Altimas and the one is U.S.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the UAE 2.5S Altimas tuned like the Sentra Spec-V with an extra few HP? I thought I read that somewhere on the forums here. I know they don't have the governor the USDM coupes do...

What is KM?

When i use my bd tuner and use the digital speed reading, it shows way different than what is on my speedometer...

i monitor it when tailgating. If the person infront drops under the speed limit i blast the horn til they pull over or speed up.

Where did you buy your exhaust. I was planning on saving for the Artisan but the more I think about it I am liking the Greddy more and more. The tips are much more pleasant, and the sound is similar, plus I don't have to do any modding to the exhaust. It is made for the 2.5 I started looking around and found a seller on ebay selling it for about $815, thought that was a good deal because when they first came out didn't they break the 1k mark ???

Anyways just wondering. And quick question, will I be able to trick the parentals into thinking this exhaust is not a monster and being able to keep it relatively quiet ???

Well, I fell ya because I was planing on getting the Tanabe exhaust 1st but really wanted the Greddy exhaust but it was selling everywhere for around 1K.. Too much for me but then I found it for $805 shipped @ Gripmotorsports and said.. Heck' for a bit more $$$ i can get a Greddy exhaust (Great quality) or settle for something else. So I went for it and so happy I did.. Looks awesome. -- Now about the sound and convincing your parents (Not gonna happen).. good thing it comes with silencers and its does quiet down a bit after a while. The way I convinced my wife was.. "Yes babe, its a bit louder but it saves gas, so its a good trade off".. But you wont be able to fool your parents thou.. It might help with the silencers but without them is way too loud for my taste really.

Ya I've heard from a few people it's too loud without them. Alright I think I am still decided on this exhaust. My mom is the only one with a problem with me modding my car, and she keeps mentioning not to do anything else because I'm already a cop magnet.

I think they are just different rating, cuz all of Nissan cars that we have here have higher HP rating than the one in U.S not just the Altima.

Yes correct I mean Kilometer dashboard.

my bd is also show lower speed than the one in my dash. e.g (100KM on BD 55 MPH [it should be 62MPH]), (170 KM, 100 MPH[it should be 106MPH])

----

I received my header today I think I'm going to install it tomorrow wish me good luck
