my remote control unlock/lock stopped working?

ok what the hell. so today i drive, get out of my car, press the arm button on my fob and nothing happens. so i try again and mess around with it and my car doesnt take the signal from my fob anymore!

what the hell happened? i hate having to unlock manually..

help pleeease

btw i have a sidewinder alarm.. says DEI on remote tho

btw.. i dont think its battery cause the lil green light lights up when i press button, and how would it suddenly die?
