SO, the FOB sensor on the driver door was not detecting my key properly a while back, so i took it back to the dealership to get it fixed. the first diagnosis was the door handle, but it did not come in for a couple of days, along with the interior door handle trim that they broke in the process of getting to the old door handle. when they finally did get it about 4 days ago, they installed it and found out that DID NOT fix the problem. And THENNN, they called NISSAN and was told that it could be the wiring harness that connects the handle to the dash. AND THENN, the ordered THAT from God knows where and finally arived yesterday. they put IT on and found out that IT DID NOT fix the problem. SO, they called NISSAN AGAIN, and was told that it could be the ECU. AND THENN, they took mine off, and hooked up a brand new one from a NEW Altima, but found out that IT DID NOT fix the problem. after a mad-scientists lunch break, they believe that the issue is a bad wire with-in the dash. and it SHOULD be fixed by 8am tomorrow.

sorry this is such a bad read, i'm tired and head is about to blow up.

But isn't that three attempts. And it's affecting the proper operation of the car. Not being able to unlock your door to get in seems like a big deal to me.
