I am aware it means open circuit, but how do I fix this?I've been driving with this for over a year and half now, and I just found out what it meant.

Check out pages GW-40 and GW-41 in the FSM. It outlines the wiring schematic and removal for the mirror.

Since it has power, the fuse and grounds are probably fine. I'm guessing there is an open circuit in the mirror and it will need replacement. Take it off by sliding the plastic foot on the windshield upwards towards the headliner. I'm not sure if there is a locking mechanism on it or if it just slides off of the adhesive part?? You'll have to fiddle with it.

You may want to take it in to get fixed properly. This procedure will require some electrical testing skills. The service manual is pretty vague on this and you will need to locate the open circuit, by performing continuity and maybe voltage drop tests on the circuit and testing the resistance of the ambient temp sensor.

Closest ESM I could find

If you know how to read the wiring diagram you should be able to at diagnose this. If not think about taking it to a professional.
