I just couldn't justify the 1500 dollars for an intake manifold, just to much damn money for a piece of welded aluminum. I mainly wanted to go with the single throttle body just because of the tuning ease, my setup isn't built around response and i feel that the ITBS are somewhat restrictive with the bulky throttle shafts..

I used a Knockoff greddy ITB plenum, then took apart and gutted the throttle bodies, i used freeze plugs and sealant to plug the holes from the shafts/seal assmblies.

Tig welded up a few vacuum outlets that will no longer be used. I used a mustang 90mm edelbrock throttle body which i wont recommend to anybody for a boosted application. welded on a throttle body flange, port matched everything and were in buisness. I also shaved off all the mounts for ITB throttle linkage and welded on a new throttle cable bracket..

heres the pictures

Where did you get that carbon fiber radiator support cover? Custom?

Also, did you consider a phenolic intake manifold spacer at all? That intake manifold gets pretty damn hot and doesn't allow for the stock intake air temp sensor to read as instantaneously as I'd like. I plan on getting one of these when I make some intake manifold changes.

The carbon peice is from garage defend

Those gaskets are a waste of money imo. . There way expensive and coolant flows thru the intake manifold anyway it's always gonna be hot.. also, I drilled and tapped the manifold for a gm iat sensor.. it responds super fast..

Did you always have a 26? I thought you were rocking a RB25?

It's still the same rb25 that's been in the car .. a couple years ago or so I pulled the stock rb25 head and fitted a ported rb26 one.. so it's still a rb25 lower end.

Can you feel a difference with the new intake manifold/throttle setup or be able to get a before/after dyno? I've tried looking everywhere online for back to back comparisons of Rb26 intake manifolds and haven't found a thing. Trying to figure out if the Greddy (or knockoffs) are worth the effort.

I don't remember what I paid for the knock off manifold but the throttle body and flange was 400.. i should have just used a q45 one..

I didn't dyno it.. for the short time it was on the same boost as the old manifold it did feel quicker but who knows.. now it's on e85 and another 12 psi on a street tune.
