Hey guys, I'm going to be updating this thread as we go along, with pics ofthe build up.So far, here are a couple pics of the custom plenum my bud James Thagard is making me.

awesome. dont forget to collar the crankshaft oil pump drive sproket.

not sure where to get them from, but from what ive heard, the R32 crank does not engage the oil pump fully, and will self destruct at high [8,000] rpm.

if TMS gets in here, he can give you specifics.

basically, the R32 motor have an issue where the crankshaft only engages the oil pump with a few millimeters of material [like 4-5 mm]

that causes the oil pump gears to shatter at high rpm [8,000] and the motor to sieze.

im pretty sure the is a collar made for the R32 motors so that they engage the oil pump with a full 10 mm.

im not sure if it requires a new oil pump, but im pretty sure it only an issue at 8k rpm and above.

thats the primary reason i want an R33 motor. if your going to open the motor up like 74260zt, then its something that is easily rectified.

themadscientist can give exact specifics.
