Got a few problems with my car, and every time I try to solve a problem I just find more problems =/

The car has been smoking a ton and burning oil for a while, usually does it till its at operating temp then quits. Ive been told it is probably the valve seals.

So I buy some new valve seals and I go start taking the cross over pipe off and see its got a puddle of oil in it. I pull off the lower pipe that comes from the turbo outlet and it has oil in it as well.

I plan at this point to pull the motor out of the car and a friend tell me before I do that I should do a compression test. So we do a compression test today and all the cylinders are about 125-140 except for cylinders 1 and 6 which are both reading 65. Now were wondering if 1 and 6 are on the same stroke because if thats the case it may be a timing problem, if not then I dunno the rings might be shot.

Any input on this would be great. I reformated my hard drive so I lost all my FSMs so Im gunna look those up again and try to look at the PCV valve tomorrow or next weekend. Beyond that I have no idea how to pull and adjust timing if thats one of the problems, and thats would be a different problem entirely from the oil and smoke.
