ok so my front clip will be here tuesday and I've got a bunch of things stirring in my head I need some help with. Ok so here goes:

#1 I'm thinking about going with microtech from the beginning and selling off my wiring harness and ecu but I'm concerned with wiring it says it uses the stock r33 wiring harness bottom line I want to know if you can wire it up without the r33 plug

#2 If i stuck to wiring it in with the r33 harness thers a apex FC on ebay right now with commander for 750!!! would this be better than microtech or should i just stick with the stock ecu to maintain reliability

#3 CAMS!!! ive read and read so i know i can use cams for a gtr, but i need solid lifters. Who can get Tomei solid lifter kits? I'm sure i need to change valve springs but what about retainers? Once i figure that out could I use HKS step 2 cams for the GTR?

I want to thank everyone in advance for the help, Im toying with the idea of documenting the entire swap from beginning to end. I had a pretty fast s13 with a sr as seen at last years nico meet in Bowling Green, this year I just bought a 300 dollar s13 for my rb. If anyone would like to see a website with a complete install from beginning to end drop me a line and let me know.

just a suggestion, (about the cams) you should have the motor installed and running properly, then worry about other upgrades.

FITO on here uses Microtech on his RB25, you may want to chit-chat with him and find out more about the setup.

yeah i would get it in and running before worrying about the cams ... you can get good hp without touching the cams... what is your hp goal?
