so i was going to do my swap in my 89 240sx ut some dude decide that ramping my car was cooler ...

pretty smashed up but i made 600bucks not to call the police and i only paid 500 for the car so i took the money and went car shopping and here she is 800bucks so he said the head gasket went but i did'nt care it was clean few dings but clean ... towed it home to san diego and ripped and now she's out just waiting on my harness going to drop it off tomarrow i went with tophat mounts and a rb20det front mount intercooler set up with a 3inch cat back pretty much gonna run stock for a while and here's my baby sittin waiting lolthats all for now sorry for the crap pics i will get more this weekend

should i take the motor through the front or down through the top with is easier ?

Thats crazy thats what happened to my S13. Hit in the same place but my window broke. Insurance gave me $1100 and I kept the shell and found a S14 for $900 lol I got really lucky.

Well been awhile since an update im at a stand still with getting the automatic pilot bearing out ...running outta idea's lemme know if you have any..... so anyway i got my harness back today from neotech and it looks great no complaints here also got my ima have to fab down pipe and one of my 2 cooling fans from summit things are coming along slowly but if i could get that bearing out i would be so much further ahead ... i hope to get it out this week end and maybe i can fire her up thx guys ..

Pack that pilot bearing full of grease. Then find a piece of steel about the same size as the hole. Pound the grease in the hole. keep adding more grease as the bearing comes out. Snap On makes a puller for pilot bearings. if it still wont move your guna have to put a cut in it and hit it once with a hammer. Shouldnt take but a hour at most to get that pilot out.

dude get a torch and put some heat on the metal around the bearing, then get your punch and hammer the ***** out... mine took like 3 min. to get out that way after trying the bullshyt autozone puller for a half hour lol

so i could just kind chisel the bearing out ? should i try the slide hammer ? cuz i've been hearing alot of ppl say thats what they use ? lemme know thx

lol well i hope that means nick wired it right I got it done at my local shop in santee california cost me 250 only took them 2 days to do and then i picked up ready for installation

the pilot bushing? on mine......i slpit it with a hammer and chizzel in side the crank and then it poped out easily.......if that didnt work.. was gonna drill it out ..

The white connector coming off of wires to the ecu.. do you mind taking a closeup?

Also, do you have the two green relays hanging off of there?

wow absolutly no progress with this pilot bearing it totally sucks i broke 2 bearing pullers today?i dunno what the problem is ..anyone have any other idea's... and yea i can get a close up

Anyone know how far the pilot bearing is supposed to be seated ?any pics or an idea thx

I finally got the auto bearing out it only took 2 pilot bearing pullers that broke 4 drill bits slide hammer .. a hammer and a chizzle set pain in my ***!

alright well i was out in the garage so i took some pics thought i would give alittle update ...motors is in but transmission is not having problems with the flywheel or i got shipped the wrong clutch .. i dunno yet ..is it a rb flywheel?waiting to go in ......

You should seriously consider getting that flywheel resurfaced before you bolt up your clutch/transmission. Spend the 30 bucks or whatever to get it done now. Then, you won't have to cuss about pulling the transmission because you've got clutch chatter.

That flywheel looks pretty glazed. I would advise taking it to a machine shop and having about .003 taken off it. that's how much it took to clean up my flywheel on my torino.
