i would just get a jdm one that has the u joint instead of the rubber. you only need the front half of the shaft.

The OEM DOHC S13 driveshaft should work fine with an RB20, but I'm not so sure of the SOHC. If you don't already have a suitable driveshaft, I recommend you don't buy another OEM unit.. Get a one piece aluminum or steel driveshaft from http://www.driveshaftshop.com/ or any other custom driveshaft manufacturer.

sohc and dohc shafts are the same.

sr20det are the same as ca18det.

they will all interchange, but the jdm ones use a third u-joint instead of the rubber.

and yes, if you have an extra 350, i would go with the aluminum 1 piece.

another thing on your dirve shaft

you should get it made from that site ^ and have them make it .75" shorter and then get the j30 lsd so you dont run into this problem later down the road with everything in

There are 3 mounts, 2 for the motor, and one trans crossmember mount. The top 2 in this pic are for the engine while the bottom is for the trans.

here you can see the mounts installed on the right side of the motor.

Yes thats right. The engine crossmember has holes in it where the engine mounts go through...mount them to the motor before it goes in should be pretty self explanatory.

You shouldn't be worried about mounting the mounts. Its all very easy to do. There should be a L and a R on each mount. When you install the mounts you'll see how easy it is. Even the transmission.

They are located in New Jersey, i think... They are AWESOME to deal with. I am very happy with them... one thing though, my motor did get banged around a bit in transport, and the oil return on the turbo is leaking cus of it, but its not their fault... good guys, especially Junar.

I'm in the same boat looking for just the intake gaskets, but it looks like your going to have to buy the whole kit. You can get a complete kit off ebay for 200 bucks.

And with some of the problems I'm having, you might want to go ahead and do it.

Lower/upper intake gasket, tb gasket and all the gaskets that go to iac ect.

Remember, your motor is 15 years old and those gaskets are probably shot!

hmm.. you have given me something to think about... maybe i should just get the whole kit and do them all... any good links on the whole kit?

Get the whole kit (engine gasket)... I have two, but I have two motors to "update" so i need them. The kit really comes with everything, so you won't regret it if you have the $ to spare. Don't forget to buy an engine stand, and do it while the motor's out.

Make sure you go through all of your hoses and replace any that are cracking and/or brittle. If you take any of your water lines off replace the copper washers with new ones (hard to find fyi due to size so buy a few of them to have on hand).

Thanks for the advice, but as the pics show, I already put the motor in...

**update***

McKinney mounts stink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The mount on the passenger side split apart!! The damn car was just sitting there and the mount broke!!!The guy at McKinney said he would replace it, but I think I may just try to fix it... Ill post pics up later....

You won't be dissapointed when you get your harness back, he does awesome work. Just look at those harnesses at the top of the rb help section, so clean and neat! I wish I would have had him do mine. But it works so w/e!

Keep us updated man! More pix!

As for the mounts, i would send them back and get some new ones!

If you haven't wired it yet... it's really really easy to take in and out (2hrs or so)... I knew you hadn't wired it yet. You'll thank me later.

Lift the car off the motor with the hoist... much easier and cleaner

O.E.M. full gasket sets for cheaper here:

http://www.nismoparts.com/catalog/?section=755

No I don't work for them. I've bought from them and they have great prices and normally have this stuff in stock. Great service and Shay (sp?) is a nice guy to deal with. Seems to know his stuff. Oh and Drift X is right. IMO, it's easier to just replace all the old gaskets and seals while the engine is out of the car. Eventually you'll need to anyway.
