my rb20 has killed 3 altenators in the pass few months

somehow my rb20 is eatting alteantors.. the altenators are charging but the bearings keep crapping out inside the altenators it's done it on 3 alts.

I have no idea what is going on but i'm tired of spending money. lol

anybody know?

check and see if your alternator pulley is lined up properly with the crank.

Also, major problem that occurs bad alternator bearings is over tightning your alternator belt. Too much strain on the belt will pull the pulley off center and create a camber type wear on the bearing.

As a side note, are you doing a pulley swap from alternator to the next? might be installed incorrectly?

thanks what you said worked.. the pulley wasn't center right in line with the crank pulley.
