so I sold my daily driver 240 and bought my self a salvaged 240 with an rb20 and a silvia front end. then I bought another shell which was in better shape and swapped everything over

the car I first bought, It had damage to the driver side wheel well and door frame

we took some **** off and planned to pull the engine out of the front but then changed our minds and decided to remove everything with the cross member

here is the engine swapped over

I am planning to build this car so that I can begin to take the car out and learn to drive on a track I have already ordered some parts and will order more parts this Monday and am planning on having a harness bar made until I can afford a half cage or a full cage. I will update this thread as I get more and more done

thanks to the people over at Evil Genius Racing for supplying the shell and helping me with the swap http://www.evilgeniusracing.com/ I will hopefully have them make me a cage for the car

update. I bought some rebuilt front calipers, got new brake pads, Rotors, brake lines, lugs and lug nuts. a new battery, a gas tank, fuel lines. and I did the wiring ( but have to see what I did wrong ), since im on a budget I need to wait for my next paycheck to start messing with the back brakes

next I plan to buy some stuff for the rear brakes, and suspension parts but It might take a while

My RA-1 table lolthe safety someones previous work provides bent tie rod and no castle nut on the controll arm ball joint, and the ball joint was completely goneall better now here are some videos, sorry for the bad quality fuel leak

If you really wanted to track this car, you should have kept a cheap stock engine and spent the money on suspension and tires.

yea, looking back on it now, I should have never sold my old car and just should have invested in some more suspension mods
