my radio doesnt work!!!!!!!!! 90 300zx

hi i just bought a 1990 300zx with 40k orginal miles and the radio doesnt work. it has the factory bose radio on the car. the good thing is the radio DOES light up at night so it is getting power to it. also i did check the fuses for the audio located in the passenger compartment and they all checked out.i looked in the manual and they said to check another set of fuses in the engine compartment...........which i did, but the fuses are very unusual, so i couldnt tell if they were good or bad

any help would be great

the fuse box next tio your battery uses standard fuses, and all you gotta do is pull them out to see if they are blown, if in doubt replace them they are cheap

The Bose system in the Z is notorious for crapping out. More than likely it is done so use the opportunity to replace your sound system. It is much cheaper to get a new system than to refurbish the old Bose system.
