Friday night I was on my way home from work I stopped at a local Texaco filled up my tank, and I was on my way home on the express way and this little drunk b**** in a white 09 Outlander was going about 95 and she tried to cut me off and miscalculated the space and hit me, I was going about 65mph and my QX went into a skid to the left.

I had the QX in Auto mode Since it was wet a soon as the car started to slide to the left side I corrected to the right and applied some light throttle and the car corrected...then the outlander struck another car and I swerved to avoid that car but I ended up hitting the center divider, the car bounced back did a 180 @about 55mph and hit the center divider again then came to a stop. I still cannot believe my QX didn't flip and stayed upright at that speed.

Here are the pics.

I'm pretty sure this can't be fixed and if it can be, it's going to be a lot of money. If it's a write off I'm buying a 2001+ qx or Path for sure.

shouldn't the "little drunk b***h" be responsible for paying the fixes for your QX4? I would be pretty pissed if someone crashed me or made me crash and I had to put a penny on the repairs when it wasn't my fault

by the way, donde fue el choque?

well if you are not happy with the court hearing, then do like he said and definitely sue her..she was drunk driving and it would be stupid if they do not agree that she has to pay repairs for your QX4

Well I have to wait for the court hearing, so that her insurance company pays for the damages to my car, until then I can't touch my car. But I don't know if it's worth fixing, I was thinking about letting them pay for it and I buy a newer QX or Pathfinder with a VQ because the damage on mine is extensive. I need some advice! And yes I will sue her.

oh wow, I am grateful you are safe.
The car looks severely damaged and I assume it will cost way too much to fully fix the car.
I would rather get the used-car value of your car redeemed without the accident damage
and use that money to get a new car (like the one you mentioned! 2001-2004 QX or Pathy).

Does she have insurance?

Do you have collision insurance?

The place to start is with the insurance companies.

Man, this is seriously sad, your Qx4 was really nice, but I'm glad you're ok.

You should definitely get another one.

Were you hurt at all? Car took a lot of damage in pics.

May I suggest buying a brush guard for your next QX4... I put one on mine for added frontal protection. I also put a rear bumper guard underneath the truck but not sure if it will do much in I am rear ended. My neighbor has a skid plate mounted to the back of his QX4.
