I only drive about 5 miles a week - to school and around town -, and have a magnaflow exhaust, yet I have to fill up once every week. It's horrible. Any suggestions? I have a light foot as well.

5miles for full tank or is 500miles? Do tune up-Search it and if you still cant afford gas, Its time for you to downgrade to a civic.

You're saying that you only get 5 miles out of en entire tank of gas? I don't think your mom's QX4 is the issue.

Let me think. its about 2 miles to school, and I come home for lunch so thats about 16 miles a day, times 7 so thats 112 miles. 112 miles a week plus going to the gym, so around 120 miles a week. Thats horrible. My parents are thinking of trading in the Q for something else.

A little bit of inconsistency here... next you're going to tell us "it's about 10 miles to the mall, drive there twice a day, that's another 140 miles a week" or something?

Look, no car that age has gas mileage that bad, so there is clearly some inconsistencies here. You obviously are withholding information or leaving something out to sound more dramatic. Why even make a post if you don't have real data to post for real help?

He forgot to post 15 miles everyday to the tanning salon, 18 miles to the nail salon, 10 to the abercrombie and fitch store, and another 12 to his hair "stylist" to get his highlights and weave done.

How about keeping it simple and informative......like telling us what your average MPG's are?Maybe then the rest of us can chime in with some relevant comments.

There is no way your milage is this bad without your truck throwing even one code. What you have written here is less than half of what I get start using your trip meters when you fill up.

i feel you pain bro, i got tired of spending over a 100 a week for gas, it was so bad at one point $1.35l that it was cheaper to fill up my other car every week and pay insurance for the month than to drive the pathy every day. i had it as might weekend car and it still took minimum 50 every weekend

ps you should be driving more than about 12 miles or 20km one way in order to get proper efficiency anything less and gas milage will suck

Yea bro 2 * 4 = 8 miles a day, not 16. Maybe you should stop sniffin' away half your tank.

lmao, as though your posts in this thread (or even in this entire forum) are any more helpful than mine? all you seem to do is follow me around and make a point of how pointless my posts are. hypocrisy is a beautiful thing, eh?

i do love, though, that you lecture me on my "English writing skills" when in fact i have perfect grammar. are you upset that i don't capitalize the first word of every sentence? get a life.

btw, you forgot your period after embarrassing.
