Ok just picked up a 1991 300zx TT with 78k miles for 5k from a dealer. Have had the Z for 3 weeks now and wanted to explain my experience. So the first week the clutch goes out, $680 later i have a new clutch kit and resurfaced flywheel. sound like a fair price? Recharged the AC and its great except it only blows out of the front defrost vent, help? Next the window controls on the drivers side work but will not roll the passenger window up once its rolled down, I have to reach across and use the passenger side control to roll it up. Third gear in the transmission acts like it wants to pop out when i let off the gas but never does. The Z is rough to wake up after sitting for 8+ hours and then idles from 800-1000rpms. Cruise control light comes on but wont set the speed. Boost gauge shows 11-13lbs at 5500rpms in 3rd gear. The Z pulls hard and feels great, was just wondering if that is about where the boost needs to be. The Z is completely stock as far as i know and has only 1 owner. The steering wheel shakes when braking hard at 55-60mph. Last but not least the rear passenger side wheel sticks out further than the others, I have attached pictures of the wheel and the other drivers side. Not sure if that is a spacer or not. i have taken the wheels off but did not find a spacer. Also attached are some pictures of labels, can someone fill me in on what they mean and if the timing belt was actually replaced or if some guy just wrote some numbers on there. Thanks for everyones help. This is my 3rd Z but first TT. Have had a 77 280z, and a 93 NA.
the suspected "spacer"
what all the other wheels look like

Wheels:
Rear wheels on a TT are 16X8.5", I suspect that you may have an NA wheel (16x7.5")mounted back their.
Timing belt sticker:
Any reputable mechanic will place the sticker to show timing belt components were completed, but anything is possible.
PTU recall sticker:
Phase 1 PTU (has Aluminum heat sink on it) on these cars were recalled to replace with S2 PTU. look for a subharness at the PTU, S2 are all black.
Stock boost is 9-10 psi, but the stock sensor lacks accuracy.

Welcome!
Your Z looks pretty clean, too bad with the bunch of issues.
Many of these issues will take some detective work to figure out accurately either from a good Z mechanic, or you can try to deal with them with help from the Online Service Manual and then some specific questions here in our tech section. Briefly, our Z's suffer from corrosion issues with many connectors and some other components, so a thorough check of many of the engine controls and underhood systems seems to be in your future, as well as a dash job perhaps with the climate control system.

Hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like the wheel very well could be a TT rear on one side and a n/a on the other side. As for your other issues based off your post without sounding mean I would try and find a local person that knows these cars well to check it over for you as a lot of your issues sound fairly easy to fix when knowing what to look for but can be tedious. As for the price on the clutch job that is pretty good. Most people usually pay a bit more from a shop atleast from what I have seen.
