My "quality" "custom" muffler!

Ok so here is the story. I bought my car back in 2005 it had a full 3" Greddy exhaust the only problem was is that it was pretty loud. So one day my dad's like I need to borrow your car cause mine is in the shop. Ok, fine and dandy right? Well it comes back my dad's like oh blah blah blah blah I got you a new exhaust thats not so loud! I'm like cool where's my old exhaust? It was a Greddy Dual Tip, so he says oh they canned it. WTF ?!?! So I go to look and this is what I got.

i would have to get my dad to buy a new one, but my dad isn't crazy enough to modify my car without my permission.

Take it to the shop who did it and let them know how ****ty their work was, and demand compensation.

well i showed my dad today when he got home (because he's usually busy) and he was like, "Oh **** what happened?" So he's pissed and he's calling them Monday. Oh and he ordered a OBX 4-2-1 header for me and is willing to pay half of a Apexi GT Spec Exhaust (those d!ck threw the exhaust away!). So its all good.By the way the "shop" is in Cape Canaveral, Florida the name eludes me but they have a big yellow sign and it's not meineke.

Just say to a custom exhaust.

Im actually told it was overnighted from Tokyo Japan and that a dual 90 degree bend and an upside down muffler is actually the new JDM tyte.

Wow dude. Your dad was just trying do do you a favor but damn! I have never welded before but i venture to say I could do a better weld job than those guys. Muffler shop = FAIL!!!

wow, that sucks that he got it replaced with that crappy setup, but at least youre getting some goodies out of it.

MAYBE, just MAYBE...this is what happened:

while driving your car, your dad did something to completely ruin the exhaust you had on it...SO, to try to cover his ace, he took it to an exhaust place in a frail attempt to have a cover story so you dont get super pissed about him messing up your car.
