Well I'm finally got my rims. So now my quest down the VIP road begins. Here are some pictures of my Q45t. Let me know what you think, and PLEASE keep your negative comments to yourself. Thanks.

When I first got the car...

How it sits now...

Thank you!

Well the car already has Cali Custom Springs, Tokico Blue Struts and a Jeff Williams Front Strut Bar.

I also have a JIC FUCA on the side, which I might be selling soon.

shanec86 the wheel specs are: 19x9 +26 / 19x10 +23 (I have no proof, because there are no marking on the wheels. Thats just what the seller told me when I bought these. So it could be wrong.)

BLACKonBLACK98 I wish I could go lower. I was thinking of getting UAS. But I can't afford that at the moment because I am currently buying a house. But maybe one day when things settle down and I have some extra cash I will get the UAS.

Heres a pic of the fuca...it fits a Z32 and a G50. I was thinking of letting it go for $240. I bought it used, but I never got to put it on my car.

Let me know if your intrested.

Also on a different note. The next mod I plan on doing is exhaust, because mine is rusting. But I don't know where to start. Should I go with a Flowmaster 70 or 80 series, magnaflow, or some other type of muffler? Please give me some feed back. Thanks.

I know what your thinking...turbo...but alas....the T was just a trim level on the Q's....not turbo

But again OP the car looks sick...and we would still like to see some engine pics

Well the engine pics will have to wait, because the car is in the shop right now. But theres nothing special under the hood, its rather dirty. As soon as it comes out from the shop, I'll snap a pic. And as PBfrEAk said, the "t" only means touring package, not turbo...although I wish it ment turbo. haha!

I use Lamin-x protective film. I bought a strip for $90 that covered my Q and my Sentra. I also used it on my Maxima.

Nice tint, but what up with the exhaust sticking out so much?

Just does'nt look right or could be a bad angle.

No offense.

The tip extends out. I ride with it in, but if I go to a meet, I extend it out to full length.

jltibbs the tinting looks good on all your cars. I've heard of lamin-x from another forum, but I was sceptical of the results. But after seeing your cars, I'll give it a try.

how did you get the lamin-x to go over the raised "infiniti" letters on the tail lights? which thickness did you get?

btw thats a nice exhaust, do you have any sound clips of it?

I just used a heat gun. It's not 'perfect' going over the lettering. I made tiny incisions near the letters to get the water out from behind there.

I want to get a sound clip of my exhaust, but I want someone to record it that has a digital camera with external mic capabilities, and a pop filter for the mic. I hate exhaust sound clips. They always sound unrealistic. I figure if I can have someone do it the way I want, then you will be able to hear it in better clarity and get the full effect. So, one day I will have a sound clip. It's sexy as hell.

I still have the BBS wheels. But sorry, I don't plan on selling them. I was actually going to respray them a bronzish color and use them as spares.

I can't wait to hear it! And I know what you mean about majority of the exhaust sound clips, the quality isn't there.

Well right now I'm looking more into the Flowmaster 70 series muffler. Because I want some sound, but not too loud. Anyone know if this muffler is going to sound alright on a Q?

There are a couple of ways to run the exhaust. Lots of people take off the rear section and just put new pipes/tips on. That sounds good. I took my exhaust off from the secondary cats all the way back. I have the new rear section with two glass packs. The glass packs are turned backwards to take down the tone and rasp. Sounds great. I turn heads and get many compliments on it.

I was really considering just taking off the rear section and putting tips, but the police here suck. There going to give me a ticket for not having a muffler. I guess I'll look into the flowmasters more.

New question, still exhaust related= Where do I get some nice VIP style exhaust tips? Because the local exhaust shops here don't have much selection.

Yea I know what you mean. But I can't explain that to the cops...it might get me into more trouble. I want to avoid that whole situation.

When my car comes back from the shop. I might have my friends help me pull the rear muffler off, just so I can hear how it sounds. If its not too loud, then I might just do the tips.

I'm not sure how it will sound. It might sound good! lol! Because I heard of other V8 guys going with no resonators. Try checking on youtube for some clips (of course it might not be our exact car).

Since I use to be in the Honda scene, I know a 4 banger with no resonators will sound raspy.
