I love my Q45 and the sound from the bose system, but I bought it used with the CD player missing in the trunk. There are two "coaxle type" cables back there where the rear speakers are. Anyhow, I have the cassette option that I will never use in the front and would like to have a connection for my ipod. Ideally, I would like to buy a used or inexpensive cd player for the back and wire so that the cassette is no longer used, but the cassette button allows my ipod to be heard through the system with a wire coming out the dash for my ipod.

anybody help with this? any thoughts /ideas?

those coax adapters were actually for the vehicle cell phone, the CD changer was mounted over on the passenger side rear of the trunk.

qsiguy made some ipod adapters that plugged right into the back of the HU and works great especially if you dont have the CD changer. They were only like $40 too or less if memory serves.
