I took a set of Audi A6 headlights, removed the entire guts, and it was a 1 piece High beam / low beam assembly.
I trimmed it down, and installed it into the OEM reflector, using a few black painted bolts/caps.
the are aimed using the OEM aiming screws, And it was converted on a 98' q45.
I had to make my own wiring harness to keep the High and Low beams on at the same time.
The foglights are Hella Optilux 1002, it has Yellow painted reflectors, with an ION lense.. so the lense looks kinda purple blueish, but the light is yellow..
I also cut the OEM little square reflectors, and made a hole to fit the projector in, Using custom brackets, i secured the projectors to the OEM reflector... thus also making them aimed by the oem screws
I would rate this a difficulty of... 5 out of 10..
